Fall 2022 Retreat Theme: Creating in the Classroom 2.0

The Creating in the Classroom workshop explores
ideas for supporting learners in creating with technology.

This session will present ideas for creations that can be used in a
variety of subject areas, with options for different grade levels.

We'll explore a number of possible projects that will be sure
to have your students excited and engaged
while they develop and share their knowledge and skills!

Participants will have an opportunity to try tech tools while engaging in hands-on creation.

This workshop includes *all new ideas* if you've attended prior Creating in the Classroom events with us!

What if you could have a truly enjoyable professional learning experience that allows you to connect with fellow teachers to share ideas & gain inspiration?

Do you crave something other than traditional PD days?

Are you ready for some inspiration that gets you excited about trying something new in your classroom?

Do you want to connect and share with a community of teachers?

Would you love to add some movement to your day of professional learning?

This learning retreat is for you!

Join us on October 21!

In the event of inclement weather or public health orders restricting in-person gatherings, we reserve the right to move this event to an online format.

Pssst... we already asked your principal about this!

Well, almost.  We wrote the template for you to request professional development funds to cover the cost of the retreat registration, just copy and paste and send it off!  We know you're busy, but we also know that so many teachers pay out of pocket rather than accessing their school's professional learning funds. Let us make it easy for you to get PD funding with this template.

What are teachers saying about our retreats?

"Devon and Leah always put on great sessions and I'm always excited to attend

"I love KG Education's PD days, as they are so different from the normal sitting and listening PD Days. I love the movement and workshop "try it" times incorporated in with the sitting and learning times."

"I love the small group setting so you always feel important and valued."

At KG Education, we’ve got a new vision for professional learning!

You can expect high quality professional learning and a community connection with a small group of local teachers.

We know the importance of teacher wellness, so this learning retreat
includes yoga, mindfulness and movement as part of your day.

We'll provide beverages, a nourishing lunch and yummy snacks.

It's basically our idea of a dream PD day,
delivered to you by two of your colleagues!
